Copperhead Safety exists because we got tired of buying parts that needed a second purchase to work. The team came out of product development, machining, and customer support on the FRD side of this market, and we build what we wanted to own: hardware that installs on a Saturday, survives a class, and comes with a phone number that reaches somebody who runs the same part in his own rifle.
What we build
The MARC and MARC II are three-position safety selectors with a cantilevered cam lever. They drop into a low-shelf milspec AR-15 lower, they run with a standard trigger, and they need no Super Safety cut. What they do need is an M16-cut carrier and enough buffer weight to stop bolt bounce. That checklist sits on the product page instead of waiting to surprise you during install.
The rest of the catalog grew around the same idea. The Glock FRD Kit and TX-22 FRD Kit bring active reset to pistol and rimfire platforms. The Plan B line replaces the direct-thread versus quick-detach tradeoff with a precision taper that seats your can concentric to the bore and keeps carbon out of the threads. Tuning parts cover the pieces that decide whether a build runs: H2 buffers, cut milspec trigger shoes, overtravel stops for Geissele hammers. We also cut customer-owned Geissele triggers for active reset, and we stock the Lee Sporting LS5 lower conversion for the MP5.
How we build it
Design work happens in CAD in house, with our own design engineer on the geometry and US shops on the machining. We prototype, measure the prototype, and then shoot it. Specs on our product pages come off real parts, not off a drawing. When a design carries a limit, we publish the limit. The Plan B compatibility chart lists 199 silencers tested by PEW Science so you can check your can before you spend $65, and it tells you plainly which mounts Plan B will not adapt to.
What we publish
Our guide library covers the parts of a build nobody sells you: buffer and BCG requirements, light strikes, trigger reset problems, lower receiver compatibility, and the legality picture state by state. Those pages exist so you can finish a build correctly, whether or not the part came from us. Every one is free to read.
We pick materials for duty use even though most of these parts will live an easier life than that. Prototypes fail on our bench, not in your rifle.

In stock means the part is on our shelf, not on a purchase order. Orders for in-stock items go out in 1 to 2 business days. When something is sold out, the page says sold out.
