Send us your trigger and we will cut it for active reset operation on the bench that builds the MARC. Same fixtures, same inspection, same standards we hold our own parts to. Most triggers go back out the door in days rather than weeks.
What This Service Covers
- Single-Stage & ARC Fire Compatibility Cuts — the geometry work that lets your trigger run with a active reset device, done by us instead of by you.
- Two-Stage Modification — Geissele SSAX and SSAEX, LaRue MBT-2S, Schmid Inside two-stage and the other units our compatibility chart flags as modification required.
- Specialty Conversions — trigger not on the MARC compatibility list? Send it. We evaluate it and cut it where the geometry allows, and tell you straight when it does not.
- Deburr, Polish & Reset Cleanup — we clear the binding points on the trigger shoe tail and mating surfaces that cause a sluggish or inconsistent reset.
- Dry-Fire Function Test — every trigger gets cycled on a test lower before it ships back. Nothing leaves here untested.
How It Works
1. Order this service and tell us in the notes field what trigger you are sending, plus anything unusual about your build.
2. Ship us the trigger group. Include your order number in the box. Shipping instructions go out with your order confirmation.
3. We inspect, cut, deburr and function test it.
4. It ships back to you with notes on anything we found. Need it faster? Select the rush option at checkout.
Trigger group only. No lowers, no complete firearms, no serialized parts of any kind. A trigger is not a firearm, so no FFL transfer is involved and you can ship it to us directly. Pack the hammer, trigger, disconnector and springs together in a small box or bag so nothing gets separated in transit.
Before You Order
- Cutting a trigger for active reset use removes material. That change is permanent and it voids your trigger manufacturer's warranty.
- A cut trigger still needs the rest of the build to be right: M16-cut BCG, low-shelf lower, and buffer weight matched to your gas system. See the MARC installation guide for the tuning tables.
- Some triggers cannot be made to work. CMMG and DPMS milspec units, the Rise Armament ICONIC and the HK MR556A1 are on that list. If yours turns out to be one of them we contact you before touching it.
- Return shipping is included. Rush orders move to the front of the queue the day they arrive.
Compliance
We modify semi-automatic trigger components for lawful semi-automatic use. A trigger cut by Copperhead Safety produces one discharge per trigger pull. We do not perform any work that enables automatic or burst fire, and we will not do so on request. You are responsible for the state and local regulations that apply where you live.
