The TX-22 Active Reset Conversion fits the TX22, TX22C, and the TX22 Competition/T.O.R.O. It brings active reset operation to Taurus’s rimfire without chewing up the pistol to get there. On this platform the conversion part rides against the striker channel, so we put a 316 stainless plate over that contact zone and a carbon fiber nylon insert where the factory liner sat.

- Striker Channel Liner Protection — the factory liner is soft polymer, and an unprotected conversion part wears straight through it. The plate and insert keep your pistol serviceable if you ever put it back to stock

Kit Contents & Installation
Replaces Factory Disconnector — the conversion part takes the place of the OEM disconnector in the active reset mechanism. Set the factory disconnector aside; it stays out of the gun.
Replaces Factory Striker Channel Liner — pull the original liner and drop the carbon fiber nylon insert in its place. The 316 stainless plate goes over the contact zone to carry the wear.
Some Part Modification May Be Required — a few pistols need light fitting. Work through the included documentation, and email us before you cut anything if something does not look right.
Tuning & Suppressor Use
22LR runs on a narrow margin. A change in ammunition, velocity, or operating conditions moves cycling one way or the other, and that comes with the cartridge rather than the kit.
Firearm Functionality
This product, when properly installed and left unmodified, is designed and intended solely for lawful semi-automatic operation. It is not capable of automatic fire, nor is it readily convertible to enable automatic or burst-fire operation. The TX-22 FRD Conversion actively resets the trigger, producing one discharge per individual trigger pull, in full compliance with applicable federal firearm law. End users are responsible for understanding and complying with all state and local regulations applicable to their jurisdiction.
