Under current federal law and DOJ/ATF policy (updated May 2025), forced reset devices that fire one round per separate, distinct pull and reset of the trigger are not classified as machine guns. All Copperhead Safety FRD products are designed and intended solely for lawful semi-automatic operation, one discharge per individual trigger pull. This is not legal advice. State restrictions
State-level restrictions apply at the destination address. Orders that cannot be lawfully fulfilled to a given jurisdiction will be cancelled and refunded prior to shipment.
We do not ship FRD products to the following states:
